• The AD 023 is an electrostatic actuator designed for testing the frequency response of standard 1/2-inch microphones. It applies electrostatic force to the microphone diaphragm to induce vibration, so as to measure the microphone's frequency response. This device is commonly used for frequency response curve calibration of microphones.

  The AD 023 must be used together with the PM 0021 electrostatic excitation amplifier power supply (rated at 800 VDC). When paired with adapters for 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch microphones, it can accommodate measurement requirements for microphones of various sizes.
