JJG 188-2017 Regulations for the Inspection of Sound Level Meters is written according to JJF 1002-2010 (the latest JJF standard is: JJF 1681-2017).

JJF: National Metrological Calibration Specification (J-Metrology J-Verification F-Standard)

JJG: National Metrological Inspection Regulations (J-Metrology J-Inspection G-Regulation)

The regulations of JJG can serve as the basis for inspection and calibration.

The specifications of JJF can only serve as the basis for metrological technical specifications or metrological calibration.

An Introduction

In the JJG 188-2017 testing, there are a total of 11 tests. Among them, only the indication of sound level adjustment and frequency weighting require the use of sound signals for testing.
